Ingredients
Scale
2 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 lemon, sliced for serving
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. This step helps achieve a crispy exterior.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) for 5 minutes.
Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overlap them.
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down for the entire cooking time.
If you are cooking from frozen, add 3 to 5 minutes to the cooking time.
This recipe works well for a quick, low carb salmon recipe.
