Make this easy Apple Cider Moscow Mule for a refreshing twist on the classic cocktail. It combines crisp apple cider, spicy ginger beer, and vodka for a perfect cozy fall drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 4 oz Apple Cider (unfiltered recommended)
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer (spicy variety recommended)
  • Dash of Ground Cinnamon (for spice)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: Apple slices and cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Chill your copper mugs or serving glasses before starting.
  2. In a copper mug filled with ice, combine the vodka, apple cider, and fresh lime juice.
  3. Stir the mixture gently to combine the ingredients.
  4. Top the drink with the spicy ginger beer. Do not stir vigorously after adding the ginger beer to maintain carbonation.
  5. Sprinkle a small dash of ground cinnamon over the top of the drink.
  6. Garnish each mug with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick.
  7. For a pitcher, multiply the ingredients and mix the vodka, cider, and lime juice in the pitcher over ice. Top with ginger beer just before serving individual portions.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a spiced apple cider or add a small pinch of nutmeg along with the cinnamon.
  • If you want a sweeter drink, substitute half the apple cider with a simple syrup made with equal parts sugar and water.
  • Serve this cocktail in traditional copper mugs to keep it cold longer and enhance the experience.
  • This recipe is quick to mix, taking about 5 minutes per serving.
