Make this incredibly easy cherry dump cake. It requires no mixing and results in a gooey cherry base with a buttery, crisp topping, similar to a cobbler.

  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional addition)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the entire can of cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry filling layer. Do not mix.
