Make this creamy, briny Dirty Martini Dip quickly. It uses blue cheese and olive brine for a bold flavor perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup chopped green olives (pitted)
  • 1/2 cup olive brine
  • 2 oz gin or vodka (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra chopped olives and olive oil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese, blue cheese, sour cream, chopped olives, olive brine, gin or vodka (if using), and garlic powder into a medium bowl.
  2. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Season the dip with salt and pepper to your preference.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving dish.
  5. Cover the dish and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.
  6. Before serving, garnish the top with extra chopped olives and a light drizzle of olive oil.
  7. Serve cold with crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • You can prepare this dip up to 24 hours in advance. Keep it covered in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
  • For an alcohol-free version, simply omit the gin or vodka. The olive brine provides the signature martini flavor.
  • Serve this dip in a large martini glass for a presentation that matches the name.
