Make this sweet, creamy, and fluffy whipped honey butter at home in under five minutes. This recipe is a simple copycat version of the popular restaurant spread, perfect for biscuits, rolls, and pancakes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the softened butter, honey, ground cinnamon, and powdered sugar into the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or use a large bowl with a hand mixer.
  2. Start mixing on low speed until the ingredients begin to combine.
  3. Increase the speed to medium-high and beat for 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture is light, fluffy, and fully incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Serve immediately, or transfer the whipped honey butter to an airtight container and chill until ready to use. Allow it to soften slightly before serving for best spreadability.

Notes

  • For a slightly less sweet version, reduce the powdered sugar to 2 tablespoons.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture without the powdered sugar, you can omit it, but the butter will be denser.
  • This spread is excellent on warm dinner rolls, cornbread, toast, or muffins.
