Make this rich, gooey No-Bake Pecan Pie Dip for your next gathering. It captures the classic pecan pie flavor using a simple cream cheese base and a sweet caramel pecan topping. This is an easy dessert dip perfect for holidays or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Beat until the mixture is light and creamy.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish. Sprinkle half of the toasted pecans over the cream cheese layer.
  4. To make the topping, combine the butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the butter melts and the mixture comes to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and salt.
  6. Pour the warm caramel mixture evenly over the cream cheese base.
  7. Immediately sprinkle the remaining toasted pecans over the caramel layer.
  8. Chill the dip for at least 1 hour before serving to allow it to set.

Notes

  • Toast the pecans lightly in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant. Let them cool before using.
  • Serve this sweet dip with apple slices, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or pretzel sticks for dipping.
  • You can prepare the cream cheese base a day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator. Add the topping just before serving.
